KELLEY BY NARDO

With lightning fast vocals riffs that are every bit dangerous and awe inspiring as a roar, Kelley Nicole Dugan (“Kel” as she is known to residents of Sioux City, IA) is a lioness who takes the stage and leaves every single jaw in the room on the floor. She sparkles like a constellation as she whips her trademark long blonde hair back and forth. But what you might not know is that offstage, Kelley shines every bit as bright. She’s a true team player, consistent, calm, and as solid as a rock. She’s a natural storyteller - she could make a boring trip to the grocery store enthralling and have you howling with laughter by the end. And if she has a goal, Kelley will Occam’s Razor her way there — she’ll evaluate her options, pick the path of least resistance and do it with grace. One of the first times I met Kel, I sat on her treasured ukulele and snapped it right in half. I was so embarrassed omg, but Kelley laughed it off and said it was okay (even though it was a really nice ukulele) and not even an hour later we went to play an awesome show to a packed house. Kelley’s always down to walk me through one of her favorite musicals (even though I ask a lot of questions) and nerd out about music theory together. We’re gonna make a video one day where she does a vocal riff and I parrot it on guitar even though she’s gonna totally smoke me — it’s gonna be awesome. It’s such an honor to call her my friend!
